Here are some more pictures of Il Poggio which we didn't have space to include on the other pages - these, like many of the others, were taken by visitors we have had over the years. We are always looking to change the way our site looks so if when you visit you take an exceptional picture, please do send us a copy of it - either by post or by email and we'll try and include it when we next refresh the site. Be sure to include your address with the photograph so that we may send you a complimentary bottle of wine or olive oil by return if we end up using your picture!

This photograph of Il Poggio’s famous cypress lined approach. This picture shows that the driveway has in fact two paths the main one for the chariots of produce that would be driven to and fro and a secondary path (on the right) for single horses and pedestrians. |
|
The Warden’s rest still in use by the hunters and also used for storing wood. The original fireplace, in full working order, may still be used for cooking and barbeques.

Whilst mainly an arable farm, Il Poggio does have various types of livestock including hens, sheep, goats, and a donkey! |
|
There are also two small ponds - home to a number of species of wildfowl - including ducks and swans. |
